ABOUT ME

I am a laid-back guy who thrives on the positive energy all around us. I teach middle school special education, and I feel fortunate for the daily opportunity to scaffold an environment of mutual teaching and learning. My 18-year old daughter used to be my traveling buddy, but she's now busy with college, the boyfriend, and that whole "becoming an adult" thing. Luckily, my girlfriend shares my sense of adventure, and we are busy planning both small and epic trips. I am an avid runner and backpacker- healthy body, healthy mind! Overall, I'm a guy who's enjoying life and doing my best to help make our world an even better place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My daughter and I spent 4 amazing days in the deep jungle of the Cuyabeno Reserve in Ecuador.
