Do yourself a favour and check whether couchsurfing has been withdrawing money from your paypal account without notifying you. For me they withdrew 18€ twice a year. Bastards. But they refund recent payments! Just email support@couchsurfing.com

Update: Couchsurfing is great! Already met so many people and saw so many cool places thanks to this platform. The slogan "travel like a local" really speaks to me now.
