I quit my job (Sustainability specialist in a textiles firm) to travel the world. And as I now realize, to have more time to do what I truly love. Hike through forests, read books, surf the waves, learn new stuff, new languages, climb mountains, watch documentaries, get to meet crazy people, inspiring people, annoying people. And that feels damn good.

I prefer quality over quantity. Travel a bit slow to fully take in the world around me. Rather one good conversation than ten superficial meet-ups. We have limited time, better spend it right. Passion is nice, purpose is better.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It's really simple. I'm not looking for a free place. I want to couchsurf as I like to get more depth to my travels than only Hostelworld.

To be honest, not the biggest fan of the 'where you from where you've been where you going what are you doing oh cool' repertoire. To be honest, to people that start like that, I may have been kind of a dick. I just feel that the best times I've had, with the best people I've met, we simply click and find out after hours or sometimes days that we don't even know each others basics. And that's cool if you ask me. Because that's when you've really connected. And that's why we travel, what we're here for.

I'm an independent guy and can go out on my own. No need to hold my hand or to take care of me. But if you have time, cool to see places and grab a beer together! If you don't, no worries, just let me know and I'll find a different place to stay.
