About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like traveling. It is enriching to see new countries and cities but above all to meet new people. For this, Couchsurfing is perfect. People here a kind enough to accept practically a stranger to their homes, often even spend their time with them and show them around their city.

Also, Couchsurfing opens travelling up for people who wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise. It shows that money divides people and that they can come together more easily where it does not set the tone.

Interests

I like studying and working with law, of course. Related to that I am very interested in history and politics. Normally, I love to engage in conversations about such topics, if that goes for my dialog partner as well.

I try to fill me weak with sport whenever possible. These days, I'm mostly working on my fitness and try to squeeze in an amateur boxing session with a friend. I am also into the French canne de combat and the better known football/soccer.

My leisure-time-ativites, quite as usual as my other interests, consist of reading, watching movies or series, playing video games going for a walk and drinking coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

While I listen to music throughout the whole day, I don't really have a favourite genre. Depending on the situation it can be fast or slow, old or new.

To arrange books accordingly is equally difficult. The last book I read and enjoyed very much was Dave Eggers "The Circle". It shows the consequences of the loss of privacy, as it happens today.

To name my favourite movies is easy: "Into the Wild" and "Mr. Nobody".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its not really a moment, but what left me amazed was an Erasmus exchange year abroad.
