Hello everybody!
My name is Erika and I'm a girl from "the deep south" of Italy.
I was born in Sicily, the biggest island of the country, but I lived in the north of Italy for 14 years, in a small city called Crema, province of Cremona (Lombardia).

I think that my personality has mixed caracteristics from the two specific and different cultures.

I'm very emotional and sensitive but I could be very sensible too.
I love listening to people's stories and talking about mine: exchange dreams, ideas, points of views, advices, learnings, experiences.....
I really like staying with people, specially in groups.
I also like to have moments on my own to pay attention on my thoughts and my feelings.
I'm very independent, but I also like to get opinions from the people that I love and I trust.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to try a different way of travelling and make new friends, all around the world.

I really like the idea of seeing a little part of people's life: the house with "those specific objects" from "that specific person"; the dailylife; the way of speaking; the different ways of being a family.

I love music.
Doesn't matter the specific kind of it: the important for me are the emotions that i can feel listening to the songs, the memories related to them and the ideas that can come from the contents.
I really like songwriter's songs.
My best international singers/songwriters are Michael Jackson and Bob Marley.
My best italian singers/songwriters are Rino Gaetano, Franco Battiato and Fabrizio De Andrè.

Talking about books and movies, my favourite productions are about true stories, historical topics and philosophy/metaphor of life.
I love poetry.
