I'm a 30 year old Canadian teacher who lives and works full time in Canmore, Alberta. I love traveling and I have loved my experiences with couchsurfing up to this point. I speak French and English. I am slowly but surely gaining my certifications to become an outdoor education specialist as well as hiking guide. I love to ice climb and snowboard in the winter and hike and camp in the summer. My goal this year is to summit a mountain with a 1000m elevaition gain. I've visited Belgium, Holland, Italy, Spain and France. I hope to continue traveling and someday welcome travellers into my own home as so many hosts have welcomed me on my trips.

When I was living in France I had the opportunity to go spelunking! It was an amazing experience being underground and it peaked my interest in climbing.

While I have been living and working in Canmore, Alberta I have learned how to ice climb and that has quickly become the highlight of my winters. I have had the opportunity to climb the Johnston Canyon frozen water falls.
