Hello! My name is Erika and I am from the states, but I now live in Belgium. I am a freelance dancer in Brussels.

am a very social and active person. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I have lived in 3 different countries in the span on 4 years and it is always important for me to make close friends! I am always down to get food (brunch, coffee, dinner, fries, etc.) but also stay very active like go for long walks, hike, and exercise (home workouts and spin classes have been my favourite lately).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and meet new people! I am very dedicated to travel but it is also important to me to meet the locals. I think Couchsurfing is the best way to meet new people, make new friends, and learn about different cultures.

!! I am planning on traveling around Europe for the months of February and March. I am going to travel around Spain for the first 2 weeks of February. Then I have not figured out the rest of my plans yet. I am thinking about traveling to Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, Turkey, Romania, etc. I am open to anywhere!! One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to say I have done some amazing things in my life, but my biggest accomplishment is moving to a new country. I have been living in Europe for 4 years now and it is the best thing I have ever done.

A more recent "amazing thing I have done" is hiking in the Dolomites in Italy. Hiking in the Dolomites have been a huge bucket list goal of mine and I finally was able to do it with three friends!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach dance moves (depending on what kind of dancing you are looking for) and english. I would love to improve in my German and French language skills and other languages. I think it would be nice to know a couple words or phrases from all languages!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook vegan foods; I have a lot of nice vegan recipes (I do eat vegetarian foods, but I mainly cook vegan foods). I am also very organized and clean. I am great at cleaning up after meals and washing dishes. As a guest in someone's home I am very cautious and respectful of the space. I also love pets, so if you ever need pet sitting or dog walker I am always available!

I am a good listener. I am always willing to hear stories, give advice when wanted and be supportive. I love helping people out and being there when someone wants to rant or just talk.

I currently don't have a place of my own, but once I do I will be open to hosting myself!
