I currently reside in Tallahassee, Florida but have a career that keeps me on the move. A major part of my job involves learning new languages, interacting with different cultures, and traveling - items which also happen to be my interests. I also enjoy meeting new people, telling my story, and learning about their's. When I'm not working, I like to watch fun shows on Netflix, cook Japanese cuisine, and read. I'm hoping the Couchsurfing experience will provide me an opportunity to meet interesting people as I visit new locations for work and personal growth.

When learning other languages, you always find similarities from one language to another by chance.

For example: The word meaning "good" in Japanese is "ii" (pronounced like ee as in 'speed'). The word "good" in Turkish is "iyi", and is pronounced the same as the Japanese "ii".
