Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Erika from The land of a thousand lakes. Yes, from Finland. Yep, that's where Santa Claus lives. And yeah it can get pretty chilly out here. Even though I really enjoy my life here with saunas and timid people, I have this obsession called traveling. It all started when I was 15 and had my first trip to Venice. After hopping to a plane I really understood that exploring and seeing new places is the best thing I have ever experienced. Okey... I also enjoy chocolate, wine, dancing, kissing and warm clothes but in general I get the biggest vibes from traveling. I especially like to travel alone (cuz you know... It's a Finnish thing) so I can meet new people and do whatever I want.

To but it bluntly, I'm not a typical Finn i guess. I'm quite social and someone who loves to meet new people from all over the world. And with the help of this website it's finally possible.

I'm planning several trips during this year. First to Austria, Slovenia and Croatia on October. And later on December I'm leaving for Indonesia. If you are kind enough you'll host me since I'm pretty much traveling by myself most of the time.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

My love for traveling and for different cultures has become so strong I feel like the only thing I can really focus on these days is exploring. I'd love to host some people here in Finland, but also to meet different people from all over the world in Europe and Asia. So please if you can host me during my trips I'll promise to make your trouble worth it.
