Hi! My name is Erika and I am originally from Vancouver, Canada but have picked up my life and moved to Copenhagen this year.

I have a lust for travel and have lived in New Zealand and Australia. During COVID I bought a 27 foot sail boat and lived on that baby for a year sailing the west coast of Canada. I then sold the boat and moved to Northern Canada to be a teacher for the small first nation communities up there. Needless to say, I enjoy picking up and living in new places!

I'm usually described as a vibrant and comfortable person to be around. I'm extremely easy going and am usually happy doing anything I've never done before. I love talking about global states, art, music and learning about other people's philosphies. I think that's one of the beauties of couch surfing in the sense that you get to meet new people, experience new cultures and always learn something new.

I'm on couch surfing because meeting locals is the way to go if you want to embrace a destination. I'm hoping to make great friends and learn a lot about the world around me.

Trying new foods, being active especially through sailing and hiking. I absolutely love seeing new things with my own eyes! I'm quite artistic and sell my own acrylic paintings and enjoy making music - have an album on Spotify and apple music :)
