A Danish-Aussie moved to Denmark to chase after my roots after spending my first 30 years down under. I recently moved back to the sunny Gold Coast after living in the beautiful city of Copenhagen and loved every part of the journey. I have no answer only lots of questions about life, love and happiness. I am on a journey to self learning everyday more about Erika, people, cultures, life, and so much more. I love living a conscious healthy lifestyle full of yummy nutritious foods, my yoga practice, connecting with mother earth and other conscious beings heart-to-heart. Music breathes life into my soul and I don't go a day without it and can't help but to sing or dance along whether I am cooking, cleaning, driving, showering, eating or any excuse really. I love anything that brings me knowledge and wisdom to expand and open my mind more as I firmly believe the moment we stop learning, we die. I was raised from a little girl to accept and love everybody, for we are all equal, and to never treat nor judge anyone differently because the colour of their skin, eyes, hair, sound of their voice, accent, or where they came from. It is our differences that truly unite us, plus they make the world a far more interesting and exciting place I think. I crave culture and passion in every area of my life and in-turn manifest these into my reality because I desire them so much. I always look forward to meeting and connecting with people from different walks of life around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even more than meeting new people through our walks of life, I love connecting with people. I heard about this platform from 3 different females who had travelled solo and stayed with a host through couch surfing, they all 3 had nothing but positive things to say, so I thought to myself, we only have this one life, lets make it count. Couch surfing allows myself and others to meet and connect with like-minded people all over the world who share the same passion for Travel.
