Overview
About Me
We are a French couple with 3 sons (8, 7 and 3 years old). Back in France in 2014 after many years abroad (in Asia and Africa), we are running a traditional cafe-restaurant (the kind of riverside place the French call "Guinguette") set on the banks of the picturesque Aveyron river. The spot is unique, nested at the heart of the Aveyron gorges, just 8 km from the iconic village of Saint Antonin Noble Val (recently chosen by Spielberg for the movie "The Hundred-Foot Journey"). The place is famous for outdoor sport activities (hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, swimming, mountain biking) as well as sight-seeing (medieval castles and villages, food markets, wineries etc.).
We live in a small hamlet, 5 kms away from the restaurant. We have a house with a lot of outdoor space, and a large forest at the end of the garden.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We would like our kids to meet people from different cultures. As I speak with them in Japanese (I am half Japanese), we would be happy to host people from Japan. But we can host you if you are from a different culture!
