ABOUT ME

I'm from NW Indiana, an area not-so-lovingly referred to around the state as The Region. I've ended up in Bloomington after getting my BA at Indiana University, and so far haven't found a good reason to leave. I fill my days with helping out those with developmental disabilities, beer and wine drinking, chatting with friends, eating tasty things, talking about all the places I want to travel to and complaining about all the money I don't have to get there. Once I wanted to be an archaeologist - now I want to build the future.

PHILOSOPHY

This is the only life I'm going to get. I try to make every day worthwhile. I believe in respect, integrity, responsibility, and selflessness. I do my best to act accordingly. I'm inspired by the 14th Dalai Lama and desperately want to see him speak before he dies.

Local food, great music, profound writing, eye-opening photography, real conversation, good times, and time management so I can explore all of the above while still making a living.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to spend some time observing life in rural, indigenous Mexican communities. It was an experience that changed my perspective about a lot of things.
