Likes: finished seams, finding faces in woodgrain, olives, brie cheese, b12, my dog, Aloe Vera King, Goodwill, the river, analogies, Project Runway, laughing, disputing undisputed evidence, green lights.

Dislikes: water chestnuts, celery, red lights, anything sticky on the groud with hairs stuck to it, wasting things, bullies.

See likes/dislikes. Other than those, I suppose I am 'outdoorsy" and a little hippified in my outlook on life. I try to see the bright side of things, although that is hard sometimes when you watch the news.

Music gets me through the day...lately I have been listening to Cults, Twin Shadow, Phantogram, and things such as this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my cubicle job to join Teach for America and taught 9th grade math at a high needs school. I then went back to my cubicle and much more appreciative of that environment, although I am very proud to have made a difference in that one year. Those were my kids for that year and I loved them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to learn something from everything, and mostly myself. I try to be forgiving of my decisions if they weren't the best, and learn from them while not repeating them over and over. Perpetual self-impover I guess you could say.
