ABOUT ME

Where to start? Well I'm a 25 y.o. Vegas girl. I grew up here and plan on living here for a while. My family, friends and job are here. I am recently married to a wonderful man, and we are both still newbies at surfing/hosting.

We are young and like to play. We enjoy staying in the city and going out for some cocktails and dancing just as much as I enjoy getting the hell out of town and camping with my husband.

I do smoke, both cigarettes and a small amount weed. An eighth usually last me a couple of mo. But it is welcomed if you do.

Our work schedule can be awkward if you don't know the industry. We are both Teamsters local 631 and work for a general contractor for conventions/exhibit's. We do not have a M-F 8-5 job. We do not know FOR SURE when I work next till we finish our shift for that day. Or how long we will be FOR SURE working for that day. Could be 4 hrs could be 16. Most of the time we have an idea about whats going on.

PHILOSOPHY

I try and live my life as positive, helpful, adventurous as I can. I will live my life to the fullest or at least the best of my ability. I want to hear, touch, taste, see, smell all the greatest thing this world has to offer....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to participate by proving to myself/family/community that this world we live in is not fearsome and timid as everyone thinks it is. That there are people out there who generally want to share and give back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have very little couchsurfing.org experience. I've stayed with a friend who surfs and we surfed at another surfers place while on one of our excursions. I have also hosted a couchsurfer once and he ended up staying a week we had so much fun

Interests

We enjoy traveling, of course. We try and do one "big trip" a year. This year we went to Costa Rica, next year hopefully Spain. We enjoy picnics/hikes/camping up at our mountain Mt Charleston. We enjoy going to the strip when we have nights off and seeing concerts, dancing socializing with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like modern shit I suppose.. I know country, hip pop. But I also like my various rock genres. Classic, Punk, Ska, Alternative, Soft and Hard. Dont know a lot about any one. Just some about a lot.

I guess it all depends on my mood I can get down to some Portishead, Nora Jones and Beethoven it all depends on what I'm feeling. My husband listens to spanish music as well(since he is Mexican)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I suppose I've done a few thing's in my life, more than some and less than others. I've been to all corners of the U.S. Spent A day in Mexico. Than last summer a high school friend of mine and I took a 3 week, 6000 mi, 6 state, international road trip. We drove along hwy 3 in Canada from Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta to Vancouver British Columbia. Before taking hwy 101 to hwy 1 and doing the west coast.

Than just last may my husband and I had an amazing pre-wedding honeyoon to Arenal National Park, Liberia and San Jose Costa Rica
