ABOUT ME
I'm 32, graduated from UBC in Vancouver with a degree in Human Geography, and am currently finishing my masters in Environmental studies. I try to do my best in life to bring together my two loves of farming and ecology!
I've traveled a bit, lots in Canada and Central America, and understand Spanish fairly well, though I'm out of practice in speaking it.
I'm passionate about nature, living well, and trying to create a healthier planet for us all to inhabit. I love the outdoors and small towns, but enjoy a good time in a good city too. Music has been a big part of my life in Vancouver, which was my home for 8 years, until I moved to a quiet, rural island in the Salish Sea.
I signed up for this site years ago, but have only just started using it. Looking forward to traveling and meeting travelers! I love meeting people who are open-minded, aware, creative, and care about the planet and our places in it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling to France and Spain in summer 2018 and hope to meet some locals and learn about the culture and ecosystems there while practicing Spanish and French. I also love having people visit our farm in the gulf islands, and sharing meals and experiences in this beautiful place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The picture of me in the jungle is from when I travelled to Guatemala and got to go on a sunrise tour and hear the howler monkeys wake up! What an amazing experience!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook many types of food, and would love to share meals in exchange for a couch to surf! I am also happy to help people practice their English.
