ABOUT ME

I am a University Student from America who has discovered the joys and thrills of traveling. Spending the semester in Sydney Australia at the moment and plan to travel a few countries at the end of it before going home. My favorite thing in the whole world is going to music festivals. I like all kinds of music from Indie to rock to electronic dance music. I have been to 9 large music festivals including Bonnaroo and Ultra Music Festival. I spend my time being as active as possible, life is too short to spend playing video games and watching tv. I try to run/bike/work out every day and keep myself busy with exploring new areas and trying new things (just got diving certified the other week). While I am in Australia I am hoping to pick up kite-surfing and sailing also.

PHILOSOPHY

My life's philosophy is to have no regrets and to try everything I get the opportunity to do, you never know when an opportunity may present itself again so don't let it get away from you.
I also look on the brightside of everything. When somthing good comes to an end it opens up the door to somthing new.
Lastly, if you don't like somthing then stop doing it. Money isn't everything and I have found the best things in life are free or very close to it. I much rather be the happiest man in the world with not a penny to my name than be the richest man in the world with no time or friends to enjoy it with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not participated in this yet but I met someone who has done this a few times. I love the idea behind it because I always opened my home to anyone I have met during my travels and adventures. I have met amazing and very generous people and would like to return the favor to others who are traveling. Plus if you are up for sleeping on a random persons couch you must be sociable, fun, and have some great stories to share =)
