My friends describe me as honest, outgoing, active and self conscious. I have an English mother and Dutch father and was raised bilingually. I love to travel, discover new places and hang out with likeminded people. I work and live in the city of Amsterdam.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I first joined CS in 2014. After a few years of steady working/living, I decided it was time for change. So I decided to sell my house and go on a sabbatical for a few months. I booked a one-way ticket to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. From there I backpacked/couchsurfed my way through Latin Amerika for five months. I prefer to avoid the beaten path and get to know the real life and culture of the people I meet. Since then I have travelled more countries and lived in different places. My fav's are Bali, Cape Town, Barcelona and Berlin. And Amsterdam of course!

Intereses

Always in for a good conversation, random fun and mischief. In my free time I enjoy yoga, running, cycling, calisthenics, snowboarding and diving. Music is essential to me in many ways; listening, composing, playing (bass guitar), meditation, dancing and going to music festivals. Also a big foody, love to cook and eat/drink with friends. Other interests are cars, nature, fashion, art, design.

Música, películas y libros

I like a wide variety of music, depending on the mood and company. From rock to hiphop, classical to techno. Some of my favourite movies are The Matrix, Lucy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Blade Runner, Trainspotting and Fight Club. Ow and a fan of Tarantino and Guy Richie movies.
