ABOUT ME

I am a 50 something regular wasp american, but from a large liberal family. Business people would describe me as a stuffed shirt, but those who know me would tell you I can be the goofiest kid like adult they know. I have studied and read a lot. I am as comfortable with a tribe, or in a yurt as I am in a cabin, boathouse, 5 star resort, or a room full of Ambassadors. I can eat with my fingers, or know which one of the 6 forks to use at a table setting. All around easy going ENFP on a Myers Briggs test. I work for a global software company and handle business process improvement..which would be boring except that it totally transforms the lives of the people we serve....that's cool.

I want to meet people when I travel. I will help anyone coming to Houston, if nothing else, for some insight or a quick conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

100% great so far. I have only chosen to have a few connections in the last couple of years, but I like the concept and it has worked for me. I backpacked in Europe as a kid and found the kindness of strangers among the most rewarding.

I enjoy music, movie and books if the message is relevant, human, deep or thought provoking. Most usually pop, country and easy rock music. Magazines more than novels as I don't have a lot of free time, which is funny since I am 2x published author. I do like subtitles and foreign films. I am social so going with the flow of people is okay.
