Preparing my trip to Zambia to work at the Lusaka Cancer Disease Hospital

ABOUT ME

We are a Dutch-Norwegian couple that met each other in Tanzania during an internship over there. Since that time we lived in Antwerpen (Belgium) and after a short period in the Netherlands we moved to Stavanger. We like to go to concerts and theatre, and to go hiking in the mountains. We are relaxed people with a broad interest in all kinds of things. Personally I'm making a sport of remembering and sharing useless historical details, which makes us great amateur tourist guides, I think.

PHILOSOPHY

I am still searching for my philosophy, might find it when I'm retired.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By inviting interesting people to our place, sharing our everyday life with them and to show them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I do not have any couch surfing experience, however during our travels we often stayed at guest houses to meet local people. This is at least as much fun as visiting places.

兴趣

I like to go hiking in the mountains around Stavanger, to be surprised by music I never heard of, whether it is pop, classical, folk or whatever, to invite people to dinner at my house, to have discussions about nonsense or very deep topics. I have a large interest i making radio programs (I've done this myself on local stations in the Netherlands, but it will be impossible to be quit my Dutch accent when I speak Norwegian, so no radio for my anymore...)

I can teach you how to load a reel and to make a mix tape on an old fashioned reel to reel deck. You can teach me anything you like. I'm specifically interested in slightly weird new skills. I will share Stavanger town and the nature around it with you.
