ABOUT ME

I grew up in Umeå, a city in the northern part of Sweden. My interests during childhood were mostly video games and different kinds of sports. When I was 10 years I started in a school class with extra education in music. In high school I chose to focus more on natural sciences and went to the International Baccalaureate program, while still maintaining my interest for culture and music in particular. The year after I quit high school I was troubled with back and shoulder pain and endured a tough period in my life when I was quite sad and stayed at home with my parents and tried to rehabilitate. Thankfully it eventually got better and started doing sports again, and I also applied to different courses at the university in Umeå. At the moment I have a summer break before starting at a composition course at a new school, a folkhögskola. Before this I have spent two years at two different folkhögskolor studying music theater and then dance. These two years have been the two most developing, interesting and fun years of my life so far. I feel that I have over this time almost changed into a new person, learned to value some things I didn't value as highly before, like the nature, staying in the moment, human psychological behaviour, having interactions and learning from a lot of different people. But mainly I have grown a new passion for life in itself. I feel more happy than I have ever done before and more curious about life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Don't have any yet. Joined the community quite recently but I've heard from friends who have done it and I have very positive feelings towards it. Hope that I will be able to couch surf in different parts of europe this summer!

Sports (badminton, volleyball, soccer, floorball and more), dance, acrobatics, movement, parkour, music, composition, folk music, theater, games, doing things in groups with other people, sciences, physics, internet, information, reading, wikipedia, nature, being uncomplicated, psychology, philosophy, animals, humans, learning from other people and learning from myself... and more.
