I'm Erika, nice to meet you! I'm a 24-year-old bioengineering student strongly interested in environmental issues. I enjoy travelling, meeting new people and, as the huge foodie I am, trying dishes from all around the world. Being born in Japan, raised in Peru and currently studying in France, I've always had this innate desire to keep on travelling the world and meeting people from different cultures. I believe CS is an amazing opportunity to do so and experience travelling in a completely different and truer way!

I am a sucker for chick flicks, I must admit. The ones I can watch a thousand times and not get tired; Mean Girls and 13 going on 30. Honorable mention to terrible comedies like White Chicks. Always up for a Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings or Star Wars marathon.

I love novels and fantasy, my all time favorites are Love in the Time of Cholera and Perfume: Story of a Murderer.

I love salsa, so I could teach some basic steps to never miss a party. I am by no means a great cook, but I can definitely teach how to make some Peruvian dishes. One of my life goals is to be able to speak 7 languages fluently. If you could teach me yours, I'd be glad to learn from you! And I'm always up to sharing life experiences in a nice conversation.
