About Me

<- +impossible ;)

In short: My country is the world - my religion is doing good (Thomas paine).

For those with more time: I´m an ambitious mate with lots of goals, dreams and ideas. I want to use this life in the best way as possible, by maxing out the time I have, living responsible, caring, loving towards my surrounding and fellow people. I want to use my education for good cause and dedicate my talents for others.
I read and listen inspiring books/speeches, to spark the next big idea in my head. I immerse myself in new topics by learning from others, to increase my knowledge and to satisfy my inqiuisitveness. I´m tolerant towards different aspects and ideas, I try to understand and to see both sides of the coin/argument. I want to see the world through the eyes of the others. To learn, to grow, to enjoy, to share&give&take.

Gigo is my worst enemy. Garbage in = garbage out. You need the right brain-nutritions for you to get the right thoughts, because thoughts determine what you say, what you say decides what you do, and what you do lead to your habits, and they show who you are and create your destiny. Hence you need to surround yourself with positive things (e.g. People, ideas, books, environment, education...)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So you are here to meet new people, from all over the world, right? So I would be one of those who you can meet ;D have fun, share thoughts, experience and nice days in Frankfurt. On the contrary I want to broaden my horizon of the world - hence I hope you can help me :-)

My last CS experience was 2013 (Bonn, Leipzig, Berlin), then I was offline for some time during my India travels.

Photography (I have always a camera with me. It´s the worst thing when you´re missing a great photo opportunity ;_;), Books (I really don´t exaggarate when I write: I loooooooooooooove books. I love looking at them in shelves, I love to browse in them, I love borrowing every week one or two from the library, even though I still have four of them at home. I´m just so DAMN curious and excited to gain all that knowledge! a list of them below) movies (you know that when you´ve found a new season and just cant stop to watch it? So I had this lately with a few, they´re below), sports (at the moment yoga, running and general fitness), else I enjoy art, history, politics (more left oriented, though I don´t like to put myself in any drawer, it depends on the topic), I enjoy smart, inspirational quotes/speeches/ideas like (see personal philosophy), fashion and stuff that looks nice.

So to summarize everything: !*#*!A interested mind finds in everything something interesting!*#*!

Oh! And I enjoy daydreaming :)

Music, Movies, and Books

So I this year so far I "officialy" read `only` seven books. But that is only because it´s impossible for me to count all the literatur I´ve read for my thesis, or the articles/pages I´ve read in my weekly-newspaper (die Zeit).
But according to my notes I´ve read in the last half year: S.King, J.Abercrombie, J.d. salinger, L. Hearn, S. Lawhead, G.MEyrink, B.Bryson, P.Coelho, S.Hessel, T.Matsuoka, A.Adiga, J.R.R.Tolkien, N.Mandela, U.Eco,.
= so this all is a lot of novels and fiction, but I also enjoy contemporary non-fiction about climate change (H.Welzer), politics (Hessel/marx) , countries (H.Kissinger) and economies/mangement (Sedlacek/Covey/) and philosophy (Kant, Russell, Gibran)

So next to my other favorite category: Movies and series. I mostly watch streams on the web and documentaries about anything. Recently I had "issues" to stop watching episode after episode of: the wire, game of thrones, the living dead, avatar:the last airbender etc. it´s really hard to stop!!

Music? Well it all depends on the mood but my favorite winamp radio channels are: fm4, cinemix, french kiss fm, jazz.fm91, chilled, classical My last concerts where rock and blues, but also crazy stuff like Deichkind. Maybe I go this summer to ireland to a rory gallagher tribute festival, lets see!

edit: until today (19.11.12) I´ve read 20books+thesis research+newspapers+onlinestuff

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many amazing moments which I have experienced. I can`t and don´t want to count them right here, but maybe I will tell you them personally someday :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach/tell you my personal view on things, discussions, topics and so on. But I also want to hear of course your point of view. I just want to exchange ideas with you, and learn and see, what can I pick up for me.
