ABOUT ME

I love traveling. I enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities, including many sports such as Footall, Soccer, Hiking, Snowboarding, Lacrosse. I grew up in a smaller city in Nebraska, and have upgraded to a larger one in Colorado. I have loved traveling ever since I first left the country when I was 16. I love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures because I feel it's very important to know many of the different ways things can be done in life so you can choose the best for yourself.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to enjoy life and all it has to offer, but most importantly, to try and help enrich the lives of others as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up in October of 2009. I plan on getting to a couple of local events. I will be doing a lot of traveling this summer and hope to meet many interesting people through the community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had no experiences yet with the CouchSurfing community, but have stayed on friends couches before.

Interests

Like I said before, I love sports and a lot of outdoor activities. I also love traveling. I enjoy reading books and am currently trying to work my way through the top 100 novels of all time list.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen mostly to pop and hip hop. Pretty much anything played in clubs.
Movies: I like just about any movie with Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr., Will Smith, John Travolta, Al Pacino, and Robert deNiro. I suppose this doesn't help, but those are some of my favorite actors.
Books: I am currently working on the top 100 novels of all time list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most amazing things I have done is jumping off a moving train in Switzerland. Not recommended, but quite exciting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel like I can help people to learn to accept others for how they are and to appreciate differences instead of fear them
I want to learn how other cultures operate on a daily basis. In America, I feel we sometimes get too caught up in the hustle and bustle of careers and such that we miss out on the important things such as family and friends. After all, it gets very lonely without people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I generally just love to have fun. Be it at karaoke, at the beach, at the theater; any and all experiences in life can be enjoyed.
