About Me
I'm kinda loud and excitable and don't know how to be any other way. My laugh has been known to disrupt a room...
I'll stand with mouth agape in an art museum, belt out lyrics at a show and in my car, dance in the living room, and get into philosophical debates about norms or the Scifi thing that most recently blew my mind—probably always, because these are the things that I eat up like they are nourishment, nourishment for my soul.
But when I do need actual nourishment and don't feel like using what is in my abode, I'll happily stuff my face with breakfast for every meal, grilled cheese if it is on the menu, and ice cream for dinner (just ice cream). And to wash them down, I like pinkies up in Speakeasies, pitchers of beer and skeeball in dives, and talking to winemakers surrounded by barrels. And coffee of course, because Seattle.
I have a hug problem. I'm kinda a hug slut. I give a lot of hugs...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Too many little moments pass us by with strangers, where we walk by never interacting. It's so easy to to do; it feels like just part of the culture. And yet, I have made friends in the span of minutes (while on a bus or while standing in line).
I've been to Burning Man twice, and one of the things that struck me most was a sense of community, with everyone; that everyone is automatically included instead of excluded as my daily life seems.
I'd like to have a community with the world.

I built a piece of IKEA furniture, all by myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to play tourist, even in the city of Seattle that I have lived for 14 years. It is filled with wonder, and it encourages the child in me where there are always new things to discover.
