Hey all! My name's Erin!

I'm a college grad just looking to escape adulthood by traveling and discovering the world one country at a time! I'm excited to see new places, meet new people, and experience new cultures!

This past January I started out on what was supposed to be a 15 month long trip, but after 4 months I went back home to spend the summer. Now I'm back out on the road and ready to experience anything and everything!

I love the idea of Couchsurfing, not to mention the major savings it offers for us budget travelers. On my trip I don't want to just tour a city; I want to experience it! I want to know more about the food, history, culture, and most importantly, the people of a city. I would love to meet individuals who are passionate about their city, and who want to show off the best it has to offer!

Intereses

Coming from Minnesota I'm very accustomed to outdoor activities done year round, although I can say that I tend to hibernate throughout winter - snow and cold weather are not for me! But during the spring, summer, and fall I love to be outside hiking and camping. I also love to explore new places and activities, whether it be a new neighborhood, museum, or restaurant. I'm always up to try something new!

I also enjoy reading, generally picking fiction books. I'm a sucker for a good fantasy or dystopian novel. Although I sometimes try to broaden my horizons with a biography or history book here and there too!

Generally I would say I'm pretty creative. I enjoy and have a degree in fashion and retail, so I love anything to do with clothes, accessories, and styling. I dabble in drawing, painting, writing and photography. Can't say I'm the best at them, but I do enjoy them!

Música, películas y libros

Music: I'll listen to pretty much everything, although I particularly like EDM, alternative, pop, and rap. Artists I'm listening to right now are Years & Years, Halsey, G-Eazy, Magic Man, Blackbear, Carly Rae Jepson, and Eminem.

Books: All time favorite book hands down is the Harry Potter series! I love fanasty, sci-fi, and dystopian themed books, but I also like contemporary fiction too though. Some books I've liked over the years are To Kill a Mockingbird, The Maze Runner Series, Ender's Game, and 1984.

Movies: I don't watch a ton of movies, I'd rather read or be outside somewhere! Overall I'm a sucker for a good chick flick though like She's the Man, John Tucker Must Die, 17 Again, or Easy A. Definitely choose my movies based on entertainment value only!
