I am a positive, upbeat, hard working, gentle and loving adventurer from Texas who wants to meet others around the world and experience the many diverse cultures of the world. I keep an open mind and open heart always. I love helping people, animals and plants for the highest good. My main interests are yoga, healing arts, organic gardening, cooking and food, helping with farming, caring for those in need and traveling to see the sites and cultures of the world. In February 2015, I set out on my journey to India for my yoga teacher training for one month in Goa.... Then off to explore the rest of beautiful India!!!!

I am traveling solo to India and would like to meet some friends along the way and/or have a safe and comfortable place to lay my head. I am on a very tight budget to make this trip and would like to save money so that I can afford to see the sites. I also would love your help in finding the best places to visit and experience. This is my first trip to India and I want to meet the locals!

I enjoy electronica, reggea, funk, blues, jazz and spiritual music and mantras. I especially enjoy sitar and eastern influence. I have been listening to Krishna Das Anoushka Shankar, Snatam Kaur, Deva Premal, Lettuce, Snarkey Puppy, Easy Star All Stars ect.....
I just finished reading Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananda and have now started on The Yoga of Jesus. I also enjoy reading about Mythology and world folklore.
I love Tai Chi and other martial arts movies with Jackie Chan and Jet Li, I love comedy. I do not like to watch Horror or scary movies.
