About Me

I’m a mexican professional athlete and a soon to be Biologist, I love life and obviously traveling. I also love nature, reading, food, animals and meeting people from all over the world. I think I’m a happy, peaceful and loving person, who can offer a lot and can adapt to all sorts of situations without any problems. I’m so excited to meet new places and all kinds of different people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m a part of Couchsurfing mostly because I like meeting new people from different cultures that haven’t lived like me so I can learn a lot and broaden my way of thinking and seeing the world, and also because it allows me to travel the world in a cheaper, funnier way.

Interests

I love listening to music, dancing (even though I’m terrible at it), singing, being outdoors (trekking, camping, exploring or just walking), doing excersice, reading, watching movies, eating delicious food, laughing, meeting new people and new places, animals, nature, adventures and photography, amongst a lot of other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is “About time”. I also like a lot Forrest Gump, Les Choristes and Mamma Mia!
It’s very hard to choose from books, but if I had to, my favorite books would be The Secret Garden and maybe The Name of the wind. Also El murmullo de las abejas, Journey to the center of the world and The Neverending Story.
I really like almost all kinds of music but mostly I like old rock or folk music, indie and jazz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I’ve led a pretty amazing life so far. I’ve swam with whale sharks, volunteered in a turtle camp, travelled as much as I can (started on my own since I was 12). I’ve reached the 15th world professional ranking in my sport (racquetball, and in junior I reached 2nd in the world when I was 15), seen meteor showers and bioluminescence in the sea, learned how to meditate, got injured several times during my travels, jumped off a 9 meter waterfall, taken care of a wounded hummingbird, had a lot of pets and an amazing childhood, made friends all over the world, and a lot of more adventures that I hope will keep growing over time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think one of the most important things for me is to be continuosly learning and growing, so I really like and appreciate when people tell me their life stories, because I learn and broaden my way of thinking. On the other hand, I also think that I have a lot to teach and talk about from my life experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a good conversation, lots of laughs and stories of my experiences and travels, and with some luck, a friend.
