Hi! I am recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill where I studied global literature and media making! I'm currently traveling and am really enjoying meeting new people / seeing new places / working on Spanish :) I love to play banjo, run, practice photography, make silly video projects, put together podcasts, play ukulele, read, do art (though I am an amateur artist for sure), hike, and spend time with friends!:)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
One of the best parts of traveling is meeting new people, and I think couchsurfing is a really cool way to do that! Several of my friends have used this site too and have recommended it. I love getting to know a new place, and getting to know locals is a really important and fun part of that for me!
Music, Movies, and Books
folk, folk rock, twee pop, hip-hop, classical, music from all over the world, i enjoy pretty much all genres of music (i have a harder time with metal music, but even some of that I can enjoy) I'm a big fan of Milan Kundera !
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Once I was pulled into a muddy creek by a goat and then stepped on a spiny pejibaye plant. :/
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, banjo, ukulele, and I am currently learning how to do henna which I will hopefully be able to teach and do well at soon. I've also taken several creative writing classes, so I feel pretty comfortable critiquing creative writing and running creative writing workshops. I can also help teach how to use cameras properly for photography and video projects and give direction for how to put together films!
What I Can Share With Hosts
Good conversation, creative writing workshopping, home-cooked meals, dancing, bottles of wine, and music!:)
