About Me

Originally from Detroit, I've lived in Germany for many years and am now currently residing in northern Spain in one of those abandoned villages in the countryside. My spirit is nomadic and I have an affinity for Europe and Asia, particularly India. What else? I'm super tall and yes, I did play basketball. I've made a resolution to integrate at least one hour of movement into my day for one month, like going running, doing yoga or long walks - and I've stuck to it! I love dogs most of all, but recently started thinking pigs as pets are almost as cute. Don't know what else to add.. I hope to exchange more life experiences in person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hi there! This is my first time going on couchsurfing and I decided to join for my upcoming trip to the trade fair in Munich. I look forward to meeting people to connect with on this trip and the trips to come!

Cheers,
Erin

Music, Movies, and Books

Books are my fave. The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck will forever be a classic, I'm currently reading Women Who Run With the Wolves, The Tortilla Curtain (I can't believe I'm only reading it now), and a whole bunch of other books are my faves.

Music is quite eclectic and I'm a huge GoT fan and basically anything with strong character development and quirkiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Europe with 300 dollars in my pocket and made it work.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach yoga, meditation, intuitive movement. Have also done some English teaching in my day.

I'd like to learn Spanish and how to cook more new recipes. I also would love how to drive a stick shift now that I need a car for the first time in 15 years!

I like to share ancient wisdom with other women and men in the form of women's circles, mandalas, arts, music, and things like that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for them, help them speak English, do some yoga, take their dogs for a walk :)

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Germany, India, South Korea, Spain, United States
