ABOUT ME

We've been together for awhile, and we are getting geared up for the big day in Fall 2010...so much planning to do! Chris works full-time at a local television station as a camera man. After taking a few years off from school, Erin is a full-time student here in the NRV and will be finished up in 2012. We are both pretty artsy people-Chris is very musical (piano, guitar, bass, drums) and Erin writes, draws, and paints. We love cooking and baking together and dancing around our living room. We like playing frisbee, walking the dog around the Huckleberry Trail, going on road trips, and making things together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last year we took a trip to Portland and were welcomed to stay with Erin's old best friend from high school...it was such an awesome experience to be welcomed with open arms. The love, the friendship, the memories are something we hope to replicate!

Erin's sister and her partner recently came in from Melbourne, Australia and after visiting in Portland came to stay with us. Although it was a short visit, it's amazing to create memories with friends and loved ones in an intimate environment.

Both of these experiences have made us want to open our hearts and home to some amazing people!

We both really enjoy watching documentaries, silly comedies, musicals and the rare well-made serious drama.

Musically we are both eclectic. Chris' favorite band of all-time is Pink Floyd, while Erin's is The Beatles, and we listen to a lot of bands/groups in-between.

Chris enjoys reading biographies and memoirs primarily, but has been known to read a few fiction books. Erin enjoys reading anything from historical non-fiction, memoirs, novellas, philosophy and poems.
