ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Erin. I am a very active twentysomething. I live and train for triathlons in Kona, day job is building houses with the nonprofit Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii.

The thought of business professional attire makes me shudder.
I keep a close relationship with my fam no matter how far I am.
Volunteering as an AmeriCorps member for two years taught me a) to budget like a champ and b) no, you really don't need that much to be happy.
I love getting to know people inside and out and having lifelong friends. People are the most important part of life! On that note, let's eat!

I have surfed, and met others who were passing through. I am have not been able to host yet. Once I am in one place long enough, I can't wait to host!

IT'S FREAKING AWESOME. Cool, kind, generous, wonderful people looking to help travels and fellow humans out has been my experience. Let's keep this train rolling.

Interests

Triathlons! I am very passionate about my triathlon training. Swimming in the ocean, bike rides along coasts and up mountains, and running. I love it all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Watching the sunset on the snowy summit of Mauna Kea in Hawaii. It was the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen.
2. Overcoming my fear and bungee jumping off the Auckland Bridge!
3. Going to my first House Blessing for Habitat for Humanity and watching the family receive the beautiful new house they get to move into after living without a home for so long!
