PHILOSOPHY
explore! live! prepare for the future but be in the now. I want to learn as much as i can now while im young about how to live my life - I am particularly interested in living a balanced life that has a minimal negative effect on our delicate planet (which is why i am a vegetarian), and of course have a positive effect on our world. I want to always stay open minded- Oh, and have tons of fun!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just got involved with couchsurfing.com a few months ago and have so far only couched surfed once. However I was amazed and have continued to be amazed by the kindness and openness of people. I have yet to welcome anyone, but my blow up mattress is available anytime!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One night in Paris, but hoping for more!
Interests
I love meeting new people and learning from them, discussing anything and everything (however, I must say, I am particularly obsessed with politics, as I was a poli sci major), dancing, singing, and reading, which i probably do too much. I also spend a good part of my time attempting to learn french. Spanish, your next. I LOVE to run, although that has fallen a bit by the wayside during my stay in northern france, since it is FREEZING here.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books, i will have to come back to- thats too big a subject for me to even begin to approach. However i am currently reading Roald Dahls short stories which are amazing.
Music- I like lots of indie music, electronic music, but also texas country, the local music of austin, texas, folky stuff, and i LOVE bluegrass. Generally i like everything except so called "alternative rock".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
alright, best life moment - I was in Tanzania, and we were hiking up the side of this active volcano, Ol Doinyo Lengai, which is situated in the Ngorogoro conservation area, in the middle of the night. It was so cold at the top that we went into these little caves in the volcano that were full of steam to keep warm- and then we watched the sun rise. It was amazing.
