We are a fun loving couple that has been riding the rollercoaster of life together for over a decade now. We are sick of watching the National Geographic channel at home and want to expereince the world for ourselves. well... ok, we still love the National Geographic channel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Completely new to this and will be surfing starting late September to early January. Would love to host when we get life back to normal.

We are interested in all kinds of things. Randy loves history, food, reading, photography, plants and animals, nature, and the outdoors. Erin loves scrapbooking, all things green, the rain, working with dogs, reading, and watching movies. We both like entertain our friends in our home, go to the beach, play with our pups, and try new things.

Erin loves all movies while Randy loves B films and anything that has won a film festival award.
Erin loves most music from R&B to Classical while Randy loves all music except for Country.
Erin likes to read historical fiction novels and suspense novels while Randy is learning to read.
Just Kidding. Randy likes all different kinds of books. He is currently reading book 8 of the Wheel of Time series and The History of Salt.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We have jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. We have stood in front of a grizzly bear in Yellowstone National Park. We have spent three hours digging our truck out of a sandy wash in the Mojave Desert. We have survived white water rapids at the Kern river in inner tubes; floating past people in proper rafts and kayaks. We have lived through some of the worst rush hour traffic in all of America (on a daily basis) and we would like that time back.

Randy would really like to teach others his basic juggling skills (not to exceed three objects); and Erin can share her vast knowledge of "crappy" American movies. But seriously, we are traveling Europe to learn the languages and cultures. We want to share life experiences with people who have a different way of living, in an effort to broaden our own perspectives. Of course we love having good stories too.
