About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My goal is to travel the world, visit every continent, and take away a bit of knowledge from every place I visit.

ABOUT ME

I am a young explorer from Wisconsin, USA always looking for the next adventure. I've done a bit of traveling already, but won't be satisfied until I've seen every culture and met people from all corners of the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to Couchsurfing and open to meeting lots of new friends around the world.

Interests

Besides traveling I love to play volleyball (sand and hard court). I majored in International Studies and Business Administration with Economics and Spanish minors, and currently work in sales. Discussing international affairs is a great interest of mine, and I am always up to learn new skills, try new foods, and go on adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I can appreciate nearly all types of music, but I mostly enjoy Alternative music that is easy to listen to.
Movies: I love movies based off of historical events (when they represent them accurately), mainly war movies. But, like my music taste, I appreciate all genres. Movies that can make me laugh are the best, but stupid humor is not something that will make me laugh.
Books: Again, I like a wide range of books to read. Books that are about historical events are some of my favorites, but certain fantasy books are my weakness: Harry Potter series is #1 on that list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Kenya I spent a few days working with a small community putting in a rain water tank. Seeing everyone come together to do one good thing for a small part of the community was one of the most beautiful things I'd seen. It was hard work, but we got to celebrate together when the job was done.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you plan to sleep in an airport due to an early flight (or any other reason) CHECK FIRST to see if the airport closes or stays open 24/7. It's a crucial detail if you plan to sleep there.

Leave key items home so you can buy souvenirs that double as necessities. For example: Don't bring an umbrella to Ireland, buy a Guinness umbrella when you get there.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Dominican Republic, France, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Netherlands, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
