ABOUT ME

My name is Erin. If I have extra money, I'm usually spending it traveling. I graduated in May of 2014 with a Bachelor's in psychology; it has made a huge impact in my life and I love everything about it. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and love meeting new people. So if you are going to be in SLC give me a shout out and I'll show you the ropes!

PHILOSOPHY

I am very open-minded. I have my own opinions and beliefs but love hearing about others. I also believe that everyone can do anything they put their mind to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do not have the option of hosting currently, but as soon as the opportunity becomes available, I will be happy to open my home to fellow travelers and meet new people! I'm going to be attending group meetings with local couch surfers and hosts too. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was younger we often would host foreign exchange students. I loved hearing about their culture and experiences and practicing language with them. When I went to Croatia I was able to stay with friends of family members which was wonderful! They were so friendly and helpful. They treated us as if we were family and they had known us our entire lives. It's wonderful that there are people in the world like that.

兴趣

I love anything to do with adventure. I love traveling, just to be in new places, meet new people, and see new things. I love art and culture, things like architecture, street art, and hole-in-the-wall places. Interests include outdoor anything, whether that's hiking, playing sports, camping, boating, or just walking around. I'm a big fan of Real Salt Lake soccer team and soccer in general. I love learning. If I could get paid to be a student, it would be the perfect job.

ALL! I worked at a record store for 3 years, and during that time grew a large love for music and movies.

Backpacked while volunteering through South America, starting in Colombia and making my way down to Argentina. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and a bucket-list item checked.
