我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new here and will be traveling for the next year, so I'm looking to surf. During that time I will not be able to host but plan to start upon my return to the States!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first round of using CS was the most amazing thing that happened to me as a traveler. Being out on such a long solo trip can get lonely to a family oriented person and CS brought me to many families and made my experiences unforgettable. My favorite way to travel and meet genuine folks around the world!

I am now trying it out for a second round of travel in Europe!

I hiked an active volcano for 12hrs...that was pretty awesome.

I can offer respect, food ...if you let me cook for you, a smile and a laugh, more respect, a very open point of view on almost every topic, something to think about, a view into the mind of a "non traditional" being and my most genuine self. Oh, and an extra dash of respect for good measure.

I would like to learn what people think of their governmental systems, policies, laws, human rights, LGBT rights, immigration, etc and what they would like to learn about those topics from the US... SPORTS!! The local area, its history, anything really, just teach me all of the things you know!!

I bring my A game with me everywhere. For me that means I bring you my genuine self with all my thoughts, opinions, great attributes and at times flaws. I also love to break bread with people, it is universally one of the most intimate ways to show you care about someone. I will cook for you. I will try to make you laugh (no promises), I also like to do really random things so be prepared for the spontaneity.
