ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town in Kansas. I found myself living in California for a short time but at the end of that time, I just couldn't bring myself to leave. I've been here ever since. I have a job that I love and that allows me to travel for long chunks during the year. I am a bit nomadic but it is a dream to one day be stationary long enough to host friends and surfers! Well, kind of, but for now I am having too much fun being transient and finding different places to visit and stay while I am not working. I love meeting people, especially those with different interests and backgrounds than myself and am always down for a rally and adventure. Literally, always.

After signing up, my solo adventures were put on hold as I finished school and spent my time traveling through my university. I am hoping to get more active!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

As I was backpacking through the Andes mountains in Peru, seeing the lifestyle of the locals was simultaneously the most heart breaking and fulfilling experience. I was filled with sadness for all they didn't have while being hit with the reality that they didn't need it to find happiness. That is a pivotal moment in my life that has changed my perspective forever and I am grateful for the opportunity to have witnessed it.

I love to make art in any form. I might not be good at it but I am not afraid to be a beginner. I am always up for creating SOMETHING and will share my supplies with anyone that is excited to create. I especially love creating custom cards using watercolors, markers, pencils, etc. and writing letters to those I love.
