One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I moved to Oregon in 2001, I was able to take a meandering roadtrip from Missouri for about a month. I left with no particular route in mind and tried to stay off the major highways. I stayed mostly in hostels and met some interesting people along the way. I also got to see new parts of the US I'd never seen before. I hadn't ever really had the opportunity to travel alone before, but turns out it suited me just fine. I wish I could do it all the time.
