I'm obsessed with skin care, which is nice since that's the industry I work in.
I wish my life was made up of cozy naps, delicious food, and destination costume parties. I love making costumes and head pieces. I love beautiful places and people and things. I'd like to wake up naturally and go to work when I'm ready.
I like going out and exploring, and doing new things for the sake of something new. I'm up for almost anything as long as I have a little down time to reconnect with myself. I will eat almost anything, but not people or monkeys or dolphins or hobbitses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've come back to couchsurfing because I think it's a pretty genius way to travel. You save money, you meet people and make connections, and you get to experience a place in less of a touristy way.
I had a profile 6 years ago, with a few friends and reviews but it seems to be gone. I stayed with some hosts in Japan and Mexico.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've stayed with a family in a small village in Peru to help a doctoral student finish his research on the area's pottery. I walked part of the great wall of China in winter. I've been an extra in a few films and got to hang out with Paul Giamatti who is super fun. I used to study opera. One time I danced on stage with LL Cool J and he held my hand.

I'm a makeup artist and a regular artist so I can probably teach someone a thing or two in those departments. As I mentioned before, I'm a licensed Esthetician and will talk about skincare forever if allowed.
