ABOUT ME

I moved to San Luis Obispo 11 years ago…I consider myself a "SLO transplant" now. I know all there is to know about this city and why it's one of the "happiest/friendliest places in the US!" I double majored at Cal Poly here in SLO with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor in Fine Arts in art and design, but right now I'm a full-time nanny. When I'm not working you can find me hiking local trails, hanging at the beach, wine tasting (I'm a wine club member at Baileyana) hitting up downtown, kicking back with a cold beer, swimming in the pool/relaxing in the hot tub, going on random "adventures" or making art!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up about a year ago but haven't really used the site yet. I'm just starting to become a part of this community. My brother has recently started couchsurfing as he's walking across America! Yes, I said walking (the American Discovery Trail from East to West)! He has had so many awesome experiences so I decided it's time to start hosting and potentially couchsurf myself when I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Movies: Garden State and Stranger than Fiction…oh, and anything by Wes Anderson.

Favorite music: Mostly electronic dance music at the moment and some indie alternative music. Actually, I'm eclectic with my music choices. I'll listen to country, punk rock, alternative….pretty much anything with a good beat or good lyrics.

Favorite books: I just finished reading a series of three books by Nancy Turner that I really enjoyed. The first in the series is called "These Is My Words."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I repelled down an 80 ft. waterfall in the middle of an Oasis in Death Valley!
