I like exploring new things and I am always in search of doing so. Therefore, I have tried many social activities throughout my life. Two of them have managed to sustain while many of them have faded away. The first one is music. I am an ametour musician who can play a number of instruments. I mostly enjoy playing Anatolian and Balkan folk music instruments such as kaval, baglama, mey, and ud. Among them, kaval is my main instruments. I have participated many performances/concerts as kaval player. Additionally, I taught kaval for two years during my undergrad. Lately, I have started to learn how to play saxophone which is life long dream of mine. The second one is sport. Ever since my childhood, I have played many different sports. Soccer, however, has been and will be the biggest part of sport life. I love watching, playing and coaching soccer.

Interests

My social activities can mainly divided into two: music and sport. I play couple of Anatolian music instruments such as Baglama, Kaval, Ud, Darbuka . I like listening and playing ethical music from all over the world. To be honest, I love listening all kind of music! Regarding to sport part, I like football/soccer a lot. I like playing it, I like watching it and now I have started coaching!. I have been coaching kids (7-8 years old) and I really do like it. Lastly, I like movies and book. What am I doing for my PhD? It is all boring civil engineering staff ! ;)

Music: I cant make it. I cant list all my favorite musicians into one single line. Simply, I know it is something classical to say but I really love all kind of musics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cruise trip between Stockholm/Sweden and Tallinn/Estonia. Cruise had one casino and three clubs in it. And.... It has a duty free shop where I could by 1 L Absolute Vodka for about 10 Euro. That three days were amazing my friend !
