About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to witness the Planet coming closer together and improve the Cosmic Positive Vibration

ABOUT ME

Veteran traveller inside Brazil, hoping to get to know as much as can be known and to travel as much as can be travelled in a lifetime, amateur musician/photographer/cook, bookworm, Internet junkie, half bodhisattva, half party animal.

PHILOSOPHY

life is short, carpe diem

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very familiar with the concept inside Brazil, novice in this website. So far I have only heard good stories from Brazilian friends travelling to Europe and Australia, right now I'm plunging in to help it grow.

Interests

want to know other persons, their cultures and experiences, the markets and the spices, the songs and lyrics, the picturesque sights.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: Tim Burton, Coppola, Tarantino, Scorsese, Kubrick, Eastwood, Coen Brothers, Leone, Eisenstein, Cheech&Chong, Affonso Brazza, all the true classics, and novelties, nowadays mostly Brazilian.

music: all the Brazilian greats from all eras, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Santana, Pink Floyd, Mutantes, Metallica, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Bob Marley, Groundation, lots of reggae. I play guitar all the time, have played bass and drums for some serious bands in the past, nowadays only for fun

books: too many! last one finished: "War and Peace" by Tolstoi, Briggs translation; now re-reading shorts by Chekhov and Dolstoievski in good new translations to Portuguese

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived a bus accident not unlike Cliff Burton's (broke some ribs though)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make terrific barbecue, Brazilian style, anytime. Eager to debate and experiment cooking techniques and novelties, right now I'm more familiar with the Italian and Japanese schools but love to learn anything new. Long repertoire of Brazilian, Jamaican and American guitar songs, and seeking to improve. Have travelled all over Brazil & abroad and can share a lot about the subject

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Egypt, France, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Spain, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil
