I like Jacques Brel but the best French song ever is La Chanson de Prevert by Serge Gainsbourg. I also listen with gusto: Josh Groban, Hayley Westenra, Joaquín Sabina, Juan Luis Guerra. Iggy Pop and Lou Reed remain a relic of my Punk Rock years, Then there is the Japanese music I discover through Anime: Radwimps, Linked Horizon, Wakkagi Band.

Amadeus is not historically accurate. Nevertheless, it is the best movie ever made. I know nothing of cinema but there is something with Stanley Kubrik: Eyes Wide Shut, Full Metal Jacket, Orange Clockwork are just mindblowing. I can watch any movie by Satoshi Kon at any time.

Milan Kundera and Jorge Luis Borges were my favorite writers. Now I usually read social sciences. The best three books I have read in recent years are: The Better Angels of Our Nature (Steven Pinker); The Secret of Our Success (Joe Henrich); The Righteous Mind (Johnatan Haidt). Les Miserables is perhaps my favorite classic... or one of the few I have read completely.
