I am a retired computer specialist, 60 yars old. However I feel quite younger. The fotos are from 2015.

I do not need much attention, not even a breakfast. I am a pretty good cook, and I would cook for you if you want (german style, mediterranean, asian, anything you want).

I speak English fluently. This was a requirement for my job. My Spanish is quite OK. At least good enough to have a conversation.

I cannot offer you a place to stay until early 2017, when I will move to Regensburg (Germany). This city is one of the finest in Germany. You should come an see it. If you want, I will be your private guide. Free of cost, of course. Free drinks and food in the apartment included.

So far I have travelled to many countries. Central America, USA, all of Europe, India, Vietnam, New Zealand and many many more.

I really liked Cuba (2014) - travelling by my self.

As a professional I slept in many 4 and 5 star hotels. However, I have always prefered nice privat bed-and-breakfast places. For many years I slept on the beaches until the police in most countries disallowed this.

So all I expect is something soft to lie on (not your dog or cat) and a small pillow. I do not need a bed sheet as I always have a sleeping bag with me.
So you can see, I still feel pretty young with my 60 years.

Start early and watch yourself. You cannot stop your body from getting older. But your mind can stay much younger for a much longer time if you watch yourself.

Maybe you will allow me to be your guest one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My daughter (26) told me to do so. She is also a member and likes travelling like myself.

I have seen too many hotel rooms when I was working. I use them as a last resort only. AirBNB is pretty good and nice. However living with people for one or two nights in the same household is a much better experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not hear a lot of music. I like it, but I do not need it. I alwas have a set of earplugs with me, when YOU need loud music all night long. However I like reading. I read thrillers, documentation and I am interested in history books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I married 25 years ago. I would not do it again. Is that amazing?

I wrote several manuals/handbooks for an international IT company (one of the biggest on this planet) which were used worldwide for trainings.

And I have done some crazy things (all legal) that I am still proud of. However, be shure, I will not do crazy things in your apartment. It was in my early years.
