ABOUT ME

Well now for the hard one! I'm a retired 57 yr. old American now living in Mexico I also lived for 1 year in Iasi, Romania I was married to a wonderful women for 30 yrs. until her death in 2005
I was a correctional officer {prison gaurd}in Oklahoma for several years I'm a very friendly pand caring person so I ave been told anyway I have friends of all ages but I do seem to enjoy the younger generations I guess because I did not have any children and making up for that now Well I have no idea as to what else to say here so if you ant more just ask OK Oh yes I do live alone and have 3 guest bedrooms so I can host small groups

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy for life is mainly to live it to the fullest as our time on this earth is very short so to make the very best of what time I have here I do not judge pepole because I do not want to be judged by others to live and let live is my policy

I would like to travel to other countries and also serve as a host to visiting pepole as I love meeting pepole from all over the World

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

OK well I have host a few pepole now and had nothing but great experiences with all have made some very good friends from around the world now Im thinking about next summer {2010} of going to one of the eastern european countries and spending a month in that country touring it all over until my pension check comes in and going to another country for a month and so on until i get really tired or I see all of the countries there

Interests

I enjoy pretty much anything to do with the outdoors
walking,hiking,fishing, hunting, the beach,and so fourth I also like dancing, eating out and clubbing once in a while I like to cook and have dinner partiesand BBQ'S outside I like sports of all kinds {watching not playing} at my age

Movies: I like horror,deasster, westerns, war, {pretty grim huh} Music: I pretty much enjoy all types of music other then rap,opera my favorite I would guess is old time rock and roll {50's,60's} Books:
I like true,westerns and war stories

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm an American Veteran of the Veit Nam war which is nothing to brag about I think my time in Romania was vry amazing and the time I have been here in Mexico has been just as amazing to me as well as my travels around the U.S. I do have a plaque given to me by the fire dept. in Navada for pulling a elderly man from his home that was on fire I'm pretty proud of this

Teach, Learn, Share

Well now this is another hard one to answer! I don't really have alot of knowledge in my veiw but I would like to think that over the years I have picked up some wisdom and knowledge of how life should and can be lived and be sure that any knowledge I do have is for anyone for the asking ask me anything and I will answer to the best of my ability but you will have to ask because I will not push it on anyone
