Current mission is to complete my spiritual and intellectual journey to self-exploration with meeting diverse people as many as possible that would help me understand the systems that are dictated on us. If you are one of them, I am already excited to meet you more than ever.

I love having new experiences and eager to discover all different parts of life. Learning is life long so I try to keep reading, watching, socializing and traveling as much as I can do. I'm truly an open-minded person and I always believe in seeking the good sides of everything.

If you are still curious to learn what I do, I can tell you that I am very devoted to studying and seeking a future career in academia. I moved to the States in the summer of 2018 from Istanbul to teach Turkish at the University of Kansas as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant for an academic year. I now reside in Lawrence, KS in the United States.

I am very interested in learning mysterious ancient civilizations, neuroscience, politics and global history, spirituality and word's religious traditions. Independent movies, meditation, vegan food, indigenous cultures & Eastern philosophies, huge fan of African music, techno, jazz, classical and Turkish art and old pop music. Also enjoy commercial and popular music from time to time. I guess we should feed ourselves with different products of arts and cultures from all around the world constantly being receptive to diversity with tolerance and respect.

It is not easy to decide what favorite movies or books are as they keep changing constantly while growing up. Recently, my favorite writer is Helen Fisher and her book "Why We Love" gave me the best understanding of my own journey of love and how my brain works in that situation. Nadine Burke Harris's "The deepest well" is also a great study that shows how childhood adversities effect our mental health and lead various diseases in adult ages and helps to understand how to heal them. I have also enjoyed a lot "The Sexual Politics of Meat" and "Homo Sapiens" as non-fictions and "Call me by Your Name" and "The Dispossessed" as fictions. "1984", "When Nietzsche Wept" and "The Handmaid's Tale" could be my favorite of all time so far as political and philosophical fiction books.

I love most of the movies of some directors such as Yorgos Lanthimos, Gaspar Noe, Lars von Trier, Nuri Bilge Ceylan. Call me by Your Name was my favorite movie in 2017.

I am watching most of the doc-series on gaia.com and "Cowspiracy" and "What the Health" are the documentaries that I like a lot on Netflix.

Black Coffee is my recent favorite DJ.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking for six hours to the top of an active volcano, Piton de la Fournaise in Reunion Island (A french island in Indian ocean). It was one of the greatest experience I have ever had. I had the chance to see the lava at the top of the volcano with a wonderful view of Indian ocean at the cloud level and it was the greatest view I have ever seen.

Driving from Miami to Key West was a very beautiful journey. The landscape on the way is precious and unique!

Also the magic mushroom spiritual experience in Amsterdam. I will tell the details when we meet if you are curious to know.
