Born in Belgium and moved at a young age to Norway. Studied agronomy one job that brought me as far north to Tromso (Balsfjord) where I lived 2-3 years. So I drifted own farm until I was retired. In Hemsedal with cows and Gudvangen with goat cheese production. Apart from having been a farmer; I have been and still a passionate backpacker, who loves to meet people and other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After lengthy and many travel experiences, and al hospitality that I have received along the way, it becomes a matter of course to open my modest home and heart.

Stokke Train Station is located 12 minutes from Sandefjord Torp Airport (TRF), where Low cost Rynair and Wizzair has many arrival / departure. (5 min walk distance to me) As many might have discovered is that it can be (very expensive) to find accommodation near the airport upon late arrival or early departure. I try as best I can, I must unfortunately also say no sometimes, but do not take it personally. If you have any travel questions; I can help where you can rent your Lighthouse in the Oslofjord area must not cost more a 150 € per night for 10 to 15 people, for a unique life experience.
