ABOUT ME

Erwin is a Master of Science in Industrial Design Engineering, specialized in human-machine interaction. He's a quality analist, at the moment. Mirte is a Psychologist, working in social healthcare. We've lived in a former Cheese-storage facility in the old city-centre of Gouda. Recently we moved to a new house and live very happily with the cats Dickie and Sabelle.

Erwin likes to visit concerts and play music. We enjoy movies, listening to music, special beers, cooking, reading, designing and inventing things.

But, most of all, we're trying to enjoy life to the fullest!

PHILOSOPHY

Erwin: on the one hand I don't really see how we're making the world any better at the moment, but on the other hand we should always try to make the best of it all!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Erwin lived in a student-home in Delft, for several years. They've been participating in the CS Project for quite some years. The experiences with couchsurfers were very positive, without exception!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Several couchsurfers stayed a night over in Delft and Gouda, until now. The surfers in Delft enjoyed the atmosphere in the student-home and we took them into the city often. They we're young people from over the world (Australia, Poland, Brasil, Spain, Sweden). In Gouda, we've welcomed several cyclists.

We've been couchsurfing in Nürnberg, Germany, Brussels, Belgium, Strassbourg, Dijon, Lyon, Besançon, France,and we probably forget some places. They were all very pleasant experiences.

Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to meet fascinating people and integrate into local everyday life in unknown places. Many people could use such an experience; it always has a positive effect on the perception of life in general.
