ABOUT ME

Hi, we are Esa and Karla from Perth, Western Australia. We are travelling around Europe for the Summer. This is our first big trip together! We are both pretty easy going, honest, reliable and always up for a beer and a chat down at the pub.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is our first couch surfing experience using a website, although we have stayed with friends-of-friends in the past. We found that it is always nice to leave a small present to say thanks before you leave.

Interests

We both work Mon-Fri, so the weekends are for us! We like picnics by the river, going out for a late lunch that ends up being an early lunch. Enjoy good restaurants, good wine and good company. We also like to go on small hikes and of course - love a big night out partying occasionally too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Him - Any type of electronic music really - as long as it isn't mainstream. Examples, Spoonbill, Tipper, D-nox, Beckers, Shpongle and any type of psytrance. Live music is great too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Double rainbow! And finding a mushroom the size of a basketball while out hiking near Canberra. There are other great moments too, too many great sunsets to count.

Teach, Learn, Share

I make great poached eggs for breakfast and she makes a great chickpea curry and cannelloni.
We both love learning about other cultures.
